The State of Stomp
When Stomping Out Malaria in Africa was launched last World Malaria Day (April 25, 2011), we set a goal to have 23 Peace Corps posts across Africa active in the initiative by 2015. Today - a month away from our 1 year anniversary - we have volunteers and staff working to Stomp Out Malaria in 17 posts across the continent, with plans to bring in 2 more by the end of 2012.
We’re pretty proud of our team. What will YOU do to Stomp Out Malaria in 2012?
Congratulations to Boot Camp III participants for successfully completing their training. We look forward to all of the energy, ideas, and resources you will bring back to your posts.
And the stage is set! Stomping Out Malaria in Africa Boot Camp III began today. 24 participants from 11 countries across sub-Saharan Africa, ready to mobilize their post’s from the ground up. Stomp!
